A top/base coat
White polish
5 pastel nail polishes (You can really use any colors you'd like. Neon colors would be super cute too!)
A dotting tool (A bobby pin works perfect instead as well.)
3. Apply the polka dots. With my nail dotting tool I began applying polka dots to the fingers I had the white polish on. These polka dots are COMPLETELY random! Painting white onto your nails before the polka dots will make the colors more vibrant, and opaque. I used Sally Hansen's "Mellow Yellow" #360, and Sally Hansen's "Mint Sorbet" #340. The third color I added onto the nails was Essie's "Under Where?" The last two colors I added were Essie's "In The Cab-Ana", and Essie's Mod Square" (The same colors I painted my pointer finger, and pinky with). After I used all the colors I was going to use, I still had some white showing through. You can either keep it that way, or go back and add more polka dots to completely cover all of the white polish. I went back and put more of the "mellow yellow", "mint sorbet", and "under where?". |

4. The finishing touches.
After your nail art has fully dried, apply a top coat to protect your design and add some shine! This is an extremely simple design and super fun for Spring, and Summer! You can easily make it your own by switching up the colors, or the fingers the polka dots are on.
Enjoy!
